We understand that traveling internationally with your pet can be a stressful time for everyone involved. Regulations for pets traveling outside of Georgia are governed by destination States or Foreign Countries. Those regulations and requirements may change at any time. The requirements and forms may be complex and may not be readily available to us. While we are committed to providing the outstanding service that you have come to expect from Case Veterinary Hospital, please understand that our expertise is in veterinary care and not on international travel for pets. It is the responsibility of the pet owner to determine the paperwork, tests, permits, vaccines, and identifying information required for your pet to be admitted to its destination— foreign or domestic. Therefore, Case Veterinary Hospital highly recommends utilizing a third-party pet travel service to assist you in making sure everything is taken care of in the proper time frame and documented correctly. We will do our best to most accurately complete all necessary health certificates and documentation that is necessary to travel with your pet with the information you have provided us, but we CANNOT guarantee the success of your pet's international transportation or acceptance into the destination country. It is ultimately the pet owner's responsibility to ensure all requirements have been completed and in a timely manner and to read through the completed documents to check for any errors/typos/misspelled information. Additional costs may be incurred and may include six months of quarantine for the pet if detailed requirements have not been completed or if forms are not properly filled out and endorsed. The costs associated with any additional treatment and/or quarantine, and/or the cost associated with the refusal for the pet to enter the country of destination, is the responsibility of the pet owner. We make no claim of warranty, suitability, or acceptability for international health certificates beyond our endorsement on the forms provided by the owner and/or the USDA APHIS office. We do not warranty in any way that the form used is the correct form required by the nation or nations at the time of endorsement or at the time of travel. We do not warranty in any way that the pet will not be required to be quarantined. Understand that regulations for travel of your pet are regulated by the country or countries your pet may visit. Once health certificates are submitted to the USDA for endorsement, we are not responsible for the USDA's endorsement or if they return the certificate in time for your travel. We are not responsible for UPS or shipping delays when forms are sent back from USDA. We utilize outside laboratories to perform tests necessary for travel, such as vaccine titers, and the timely return of these results is 100% out of our control. Be advised that only certain veterinarians are accredited with the USDA to sign and submit health certificates to the USDA. We rely on accredited veterinarians for this service, and although unlikely, emergencies can arise, preventing us from having an accredited veterinarian on schedule the day a health certificate is needing submission. We cannot be held responsible for such scheduling conflicts.
