Dr. Victoria Torres Veterinarian

Dr. Victoria Torres graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and completed her clinical year at LSU Veterinary School. She is originally from Pennsylvania but has strong family ties to Georgia, and joining Case in 2022 brought her closer to family.

Dr. Torres has a strong interest in nutrition and is pursuing an advanced certificate in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (food therapy). She also enjoys behavior, internal medicine, and surgical cases. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, and American Animal Hospital Association.

In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, and board games. One of her favorite parts of veterinary medicine is improving the lives of people in her community by helping their pets live healthier lives.

Dr. Torres is also a dedicated advocate for animal rescue. She helped form Barkus & Meoux Savannah, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit inspired by the Mardi Gras Krewe in Louisiana. The organization promotes responsible pet ownership, supports local rescue efforts, and provides emergency assistance for pets in need. They host community events, meet regularly at pet-friendly locations, and hope to bring a Mardi Paws pet parade to Savannah in the future.
