Dr. Jeleah Rines Veterinarian
Dr. Jeleah Rines was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Orlando, Florida. From a young age, she knew she wanted a career working with animals. She attended Thomas University on a softball scholarship, earning her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
While in Georgia, she visited Savannah several times and knew she wanted to build her life here. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida, along with professional certificates in Shelter Medicine and Veterinary Business Management. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, and American Animal Hospital Association.
Dr. Rines’ interests include soft tissue surgery, small animal medicine, dentistry, and shelter medicine. She is Fear Free Certified and focuses on creating low-stress experiences for both pets and their owners.
Outside of work, she enjoys watching sports — especially UF softball — spending time outdoors, and being with her dog, Chico, her husband, TJ, and family and friends.
